Hi Rick,

I checked out your site and it looks like you have the vertical coaming pieces installed and have already glassed around the outside. At this point, I coated the strips for the coaming lip lamination with epoxy resin and wrapped them around the coaming, spiral fashion, clamping as I wrapped until the lip was built up to 5 or 6 strips wide. If you do this before the initial glass layer on the coaming has cured, you will get a chemical bond between the lip strips and the coaming pieces, which is good. Otherwise you should sand it first to ensure a good mechanical bond.
