Tom, you may have found a gold mine if the wood hasn't gotten too termite damaged. Not sure how old the siding/house is, but there is usually a tappered design, so you would be able to get some 1/4" thick stock out of it, and upwards of 1/2" to 5/8" from some. You may have to contend with some nail or staple holes depending what they use in your neck of the woods. Is it just painted or have they ever sprayed it with some kind of oil sealer? If that is still in the wood, you may have problems with epoxy adhesion. Still worth a look-see. Good Luck!!
