: I just got finished milling my strips yesterday. I have an endless supply of
: white cedar strips but need other colors to make the boat more
: interesting. Trading strips seems like the most economical way to go
: because it would only involve shipping. Is UPS the best way to ship
: something 20 feet long?
: Anyone interested in a trade?
20 ft long strips are tough to trade. you might consider chopping them to 8-12 ft for shipping ease. call UPS to find out their restrcitions and costs for longer size packages.
I traded for some redwood strips a while back.
How many linear feet of strips are you looking for? also if you mention your location you might find a local to trade with and not have to ship them.
