Jay,

Did you use one coat of epoxy to "just fill" the weave? Any UV protection or is that necessary? I'm considering a rebuild of my Wally this winter and may try that.

I'd agree on the saggy nylon. I tested some for "X" and could never keep it stretched tight. I was really pleased with the polyester (from Dyson) I used on "X". The two part urethane you mention is probably the GACO stuff. Supposed to be extremely durable, but also expensive and toxic to apply. I think Dyson may sell it or similar. So far the regular water based urethane has been fine on my boat. Time will tell, though.
