Hmmm. sounds like a good idea

: . . .Also since I don't have a strongbench yet I thought about using my
: 2x4 internal strongback and cutting holes in my forms like I did with the
: Guillemot.

Sounds like a good idea. In my ongoing quest to get the forms for this boat smaller and smaller (and less expensive) I had overlooked the idea of mounting them on an internal strong back. A 2x4 should be just fine since there are so few forms, the amount of wood required for the forms would be minimal., and the weight of the Walrus frame is very little -- so there should not be a significant amount of sag. Certainly no more than a center brace can fix

NowI have a new task. I'll re-calculate the dimensions of the forms that I have transformed into a coordinate system. This should be fairly simple as all I'll have to do is cut down all the altitudes by a fixed amount. The widths will stay the same. Then just notch the bottoms of the forms and set them on a 2x4.
Legs on the 2x4 will bring the forms to working height.
