The cart I made and use consists of a 6" wide piece of 3/4" ply 18" long, a piece of 1/2" aluminum rod long enough to accommodate 2 lawnmower wheels held on with split pins, foam on top and straps to hold the boat on. Adjust the length of board to fit your kayak. Wheels are quickly removed and the whole thing stores inside. Works for me.
