Marine Composites has tons of great information on the materials we use to sheath our boats.

: Anybody know were to find a listing of specifications (such as tensile
: strengths, elasticity, etc.) for various weaves and weights of E-glass,
: S-glass, Carbon, Kevlar, etc. cloths?

: I have found various partial listings from some of the suppliers, but I would
: like to compare several cloths which these suppliers do not carry. Several
: suppliers don't have any data on the cloths they stock.

: I am assuming that the various weaves and weights available are standardized
: and that each manufacturer of cloth is using the same chemical makeup of
: glass and producing cloth with basicaly the same specifications. They may
: all be from one manufacturer for all I know.

: There should be a book or something available for engineering type data.
