The Buffalo HydroFest is less than a month away now (August 12th), and the event details have now been posted! In addition to free demo rides and racing, there'll be quite a few home-built pedal-powered boats competing and on display.
I invite any of you to bring your kayak down to the event to enter the races, or just to paddle around and watch the festivities.
Check out the link below for info on the races, maps, which boats will be available for demo rides, how to enter your boat, and hotel accommodations.
