Hi Joe,
I opted for oval hatches. my stern hatch is 17.5" long and 12" at its widest. My bow hatch is 16" long and 11" wide. My openings are 71" to the edge CLOSEST to the cockpit from both the bow and the stern tips. If you need more info or hatch shape templates I used, E-mail me.
