In Response To: Duct Tape Adhesive Removal? (Steve Lein)
: Any recommendations for removal of duct tape adhesive?
Steve,
Yacht designer/author Chuck Paine swears by water soluble brush cleaner for old masking tape (and just about any other cleaning problem. I've used it to remove pine resin from auto finishes without harm to the paint. I'd think epoxy would be less susceptible to damage than auto finish. Like they say try it in a spot that won't show first. If you want to approach this more cautiously try a citrus based hand cleaner first. Just mind the pumice grit.
