Hi Rick
1" black poly pipe fits nicely over the outside of that 3/4" pipe as well.. giving it a corrosion resistant finish.
I was going to update my ash roof rack like that and using short lengths of
1 1/8" poly tubing to slide over those cross bars for my sliding ,side loading yak cradles ...but still gathering hardware.
