I grabbed a shot of my current accent strip work and though I'd post it. It is going to work out okay but I've had some pretty scary moments. I glued up loaves of this pattern and then ripped them into 1/4" strips. Some of these joints cracked apart when I bent them down to the adjoining strip. So, I'm having to go back and rework certain pieces individually (I had hoped to avoid that). It turns out that gluing the blocks one-by-one goes pretty fast; I'm using a chisel and a small heavy plane to re-trim each point of failure. I finally figured out that wetting the strips will help them bend without breaking (duh).
The numbers are there so I can bookmatch the next strip to this one. It looks like bookmatching will go okay except near the bow; I'll be doing more custom fitting around that tighter radius.
