In Response To: Recreational Yak Plans? (Dave Aguiar)

Dave,
I modified a design by david hasen to make a 14'6" 25wide rec kayak. I'll have it at the newfound redevous if you are going to be in New England. She has a very soft chine and just a little rocker so when you first get in it can be a litle tippy but once your'e used to it she is very predictable. I use it mostly for fishing and bird watching in small water but i was able to hold my own and play of the coast of maine so she ids pretty versital. Any way if you are interested you can try her out and I will trace out my forms in some paper for you. I recommend david's book if you want to try modifing it on your own, the book's cheep and the advise invauluable.
Cheers
Rick

By the way- Russ if you have and old picture of Mistress please post for Dave to see. Cheers
