I am about to purchace wood to strip build a boat. Locally,I have found fairly clear cypress at 12 and 16-foot lengths. If I need 90-100 strips, How many 1x8s do I need to buy? Using a thin-kerf blade on a table saw,how many strips can I expect to mill out of a single 1x8?
