I haven't built one but did see one at the Ottawa paddlesport show in the spring. It looked pretty good and the demonstrators used it to show rolls and other techniques in the pool with no problem (demonstrator was a 130-140 lb female (cute)). Roy Folland was there and he has other models depending on size etc. but he mentioned the sea wolf for up to 200 pounders.

I was considering that model before I decided I had the time and ability (limited) to build a strip Kayak.
