Um, about that herringbone pattern. Well, um....we went paddling with Ross. Ross in his Outer Island with the "herringbone pattern". It's a bloomin' snake pattern! Yep, that's right! We'd been out only a few minutes and HUNDREDS of snakes were comin' over to check out the BIG DOG SNAKE! Hell, a couple tried to come on to the kayak. Yikes! Sure was scary since Ross was "graciously" letting me try out the Outer Island at the time.

All hyperbole aside...what a nice boat and beautiful work! My partner Barb tried it and said, "It's like gliding on ice..."
