We're just starting to varnish the new Guillemot. Hope to have it out at R2K1 with outriggers, but first the varnish.

Per System 3 recommendation for compatibility, we chose 'Flagship'. After paying way too much to keep on schedule, it says 'not for use below the waterline'. What I think that means is for boats that will stay in the water forever, this stuff will not protect you boat from sea pests...

Is it worth while to varinsh below the waterline? 1 coat, 2 coats, 10?
