I'm sure here in Oregon, too. Already old-growth fir is pretty hard to get unless it's recycled. And then, when an old-growth tree is worth a lifetime salary, they'll be cut where they arent supposed to, too! It's a shame, but we all live in wood houses, sit on wood furniture, and build wood boats. Of the three, I'd rather have the boat.
