My Great Auk is a few months old, and I'm ready to mount a rod holder. I like the Tite-Lok 5610 on my Pungo, and want to get another mounting plate for this boat.
I know that a hit from a big bluefish or striper while trolling can really exert some leverage. I think I saw a few mounts at the Meet at the Beach, but didn't think to check how they were backed up. Ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
