: The trick for rain is to make a hatch cover for your boat. A piece of coated

: front. Like a a spray skirt with out the hole in it. I attach mine to my
: deck bungee as added insurance. We use them on trips at night to close the

Hi Russ,

I really enjoyed your exciting story, above. Another chapter for your book.

Only 17 days left and everything is still frantic getting ready for my trip. Bear spray is in the mail to ease that phobia of mine. My computer room is filled with camping equipment that I have to cull down so my overall weight is light enough for one trip on the portages between lakes. That may be impossible. Doing back exercises to keep my disc in place. I'm going to blow up my wife's air matress this morning so I can set the yak on it for hull support while I craw in and attach the bouy floatations to the stern and bow and check setting in the new variable seat positions. Need to take the yak to a nearby lake and check it fully loaded to make sure there are no bad surprises. I will let everyone know how this unproven yak works on a trip like this when I get back. I have more questions for the board when I get back. Thanks for all of your help.
