Am just completing a 16' frame & skin boat - Sea Bright Skimmer. Next kit will be for a bigger boat. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who's built the QC 19', any of the bigger CLC boats, and especially the Betsy Bay Artic Lite. I'm 6'2", size 11 shoe, 195 lbs and will use the boat for day and week long trips in the N.J. bays, Pamlico Sound, NC, the Maine Island Trail, and hopefully a major trip in the northern Maratimes. Most of my paddling experience has been whitewater (Dancer XL). In addition to the 16' Skimmer we also have a big tandem (Tango) - a great boat, but difficult to car top.
