Hi Jon,

If I understand correctly you have done an endpour that is 16" long along where the side panels join between the bottom of the hull and where the deck joins the side panels, shaped like the inverted roof of a house, in the bow. The idea of the endpour is to join the hull and the deck where you can't reach to fillet and tape, and to give you a secure place to fasten carrying loops. The idea as I understand it is to keep your endpours to a minimum. I wouldn't worry about the cracks in you present endpour, they are in fact making the endpours lighter. Unless the cracks are exposed when you drill for your carrying loops, if that happens then a small pour to fill the cracks will keep you from taking on water.
Excess weight at the extreme ends of the boat is the worst case scenario for manuverability.
