I have an old Tyne folding boat (British folding kayak similar to Klepper...Cockleshell Heroes boat. The original skin was rubber coated canvas. Made a new skin from recommended neoprene coated dacron. This material has no abrasion resistance at all. Put on extra strips. The neoprene coating is wearing thin.

What do you suggest as a new coating? I would like to be able to fold it up.
