:I have "straightened" boards with a strongback arrangement in the past. I screwed through the offending board into a straight and strong/side grain 2x4 of appropriate length and pulled the bow out and then ripped it. A 2x6 would not rip through a TS in one pass and depending on the TS, not in two passes. A BS offers the best opportunity to get it all done in one pass. Either way you will be left with a bow when the rip is finished. The ripped strips will bend into place without too much of a problem. Brian
