Jim,
I had the same problem with a 15 footer. I set up my bandsaw with 2x8 infeed and outfeed tables. I put the outside of the bow toward the blade and kept as much of the blade area close to the fence as possible and it went just fine. You have to be sure to allign the fence to compensate for 'blade lead' tho. -scott e.
