Keith,
There isn't a builder on this board who doesn't know jsut how ya feel right now. No boat looks perfect to the builder. First suggestion rabbiting in a piece of veneer from your scrap. ITs done this way.Peel back some of the veneer of the same baord from the scrap. Then trim what's missing into a rectangle or other definable shape leaving the lower layers. Then take the scarp veneer you have peeled and apply it agains tyour trimmed area. Cut out the same shape and area. Remer the curve on the outside of your baot will lengthen what you need. Think map area stretching on a globe. Cut your rabbit a litlte to big then sand it back so it fits flush agains t your cut out walls.

Fill th area with epoxy. Put in your rabbit. Then cover it with a garbage bag and run tarp straps around it all for a conformal fit.

Second if that doesn't work claim that you were in some real jamming water, ya hit a rock and its a war wound.
