I used "Goop" (for marine use) last time with excellent results. Better than Barge's. This is some new stuff they have just started carrying in the Home Depots around here. At first I didn't think it would be very good because it goes on and has a consistancy like silicon sealant, so I tested it on a few things first.
WOW!
I think it's permanant and for a long time.
I'm sold on the stuff and they make it for several different applications.
