Oh, man. What makes it even worse is the implied message the dog was sending, "this is MY boat". I'd be seething, the thought that this little, non-opposable thumbed creature without the dexterity to wipe it's own behind should have the gall to lay claim to a fine handcrafted boat.
I share your angst, brother.
