In Response To: stretch or shrink??? (Randy Knauff)

: What happens if you take your set of plans, and keeping all other
: measurements the same, put the stations for the 17' kayak at 11+1/4 inches
: rather than 12 inches? Will you get a 16' kayak with the pieces fitting
: together correctly for the same basic hull shape? Or put the stations for
: the 14' at 13 inches for a 15' kayak?

: Randy

If I was building from plans, I guess I could take the patterns to Kinko's or something to do like a 12% reduction. However, as I have the woodworking skills of a Silver Backed Mountain Gorilla, I need all the help I can get.
