John,
Sounds like your already and very well prepared. One suggestion. If there is away not to put your feet under your frame pack I'd suggest doing so. If you rolled that would be a recipee for getting your foot trapped in the boat.
and impede or stop your wet exit. Better to figure a repack solution then get stuck kisisng fish.

Beyond all of that! It sounds like your very ready. I talked to friends who jsut got back they saw bears but no trouble with them. HAd some big winds, but foraging was good. Enjoy the rest of this journey that started with athe decision to do it!
