My hands-down favorite (in terms of visual appeal) is a Greenland-style folder designed by Gerald Maroske. I've traded a number of emails with him about his design, and he had intended to make plans, but I don't think he ever got around to it. Every chance I get, I encourage people to take a look at his design and pester him into submission. The slide-show has some close-ups of the frame and its assembly.
