It is a stich and glue boat, so is easier to build than a strip built. It can seat two people or one, and can be set up with adjustable seats when you switch back an forth between the two modes. You mention duck hunting. The Mill Creeks have open cockpits and are pretty wide and stable. Sounds like just the thing you would want for a hunting boat.

It can be built from a kit, or if you are more experienced in woodworking, by using plans. The kit costs a bit more, but is easier.

The Mill Creek kayaks are designed by CLC.
