Same thing happened to me. I got a few ratchet style straps for holding down loads on roof racks or whatever. Put the halve together then start taping the ens together so all is lined up. Next get a couple of metal paint scrapers. You will use these to lever the halves together. You can really crank on these and do no harm to the boat ( I had a couple of spots where the glass chipped or tore out but sanded down and patched and can't tell). There is a lot of force in the boat and i broke a paint scraper doing this so wtch your eyes, don't get your face right down in the line of fire. As you move alont the seam crank the tie downs tight. With some patience and a Zen headspace you can do this. I then seamed the inside and went on with life. by the way the tie downs come in handy to hold the boat on the car later. Hope this helps.
