They have an internal drybag with a roll top and backed up with a zipper. Then you have a separate bladder with blow tube that adds floatation and swells them up to fill up the bow and stern spaces. They are a tough coated nylon.

You can use them just as bladder alone if you want.

Trash compacter bags are tough and cheap for that extra liner, too. I agree that back up dry protection is always a good idea.
