Well, I wasn't sure what point to measure from so here are two:
At form 4 which should be the back of the cockpit I had 6-1/2" from bottom of the keel to top of sheer stringer.
I also measured the distance from chine to sheer at the same point and got 6".
Minor setback last evening, one of my sheer stringers popped the scarf joint loose. Fortunately I hadn't glued it to the bow and stern yet, it was just clamped in place so I was able to take it back off and reglue it.
I've been busy planing the stringers so the panels will lay flush.
