Only thing I would seriously reconsider doing with the Millcreek if I was to make it a dedicated fishing type kayak is change the cockpit lines to open it up more in front. The tapered cockpit is very pretty, but not all that tacklebox friendly. The bigger Millcreek 16.5 might be a better idea actually.
