Do you think you could get it outside for major sanding operations? That should be a major concern for both your health and marriage! Even with a shop vac on a sander (a must in your case) you will have considerable dust, both wood and epoxy/FB floating around. Even if you can get outside, maybe you could set up some plastic sheeting walls as others here have done.
