That sounds like it will be somewhere in between the height of my Skinny Walrus and the Plywood Walrus. It should help make it easy to roll. If you plan on using it for camping, you may want to go back to the original sheer height amidships or build a raised deck, but for day trips it should be perfect.

: Minor setback last evening, one of my sheer stringers popped the scarf joint
: loose. Fortunately I hadn't glued it to the bow and stern yet, it was just
: clamped in place so I was able to take it back off and reglue it.
