John, welcome back from your trip, 10 strokes before corrections sounds good to me. I just came back from a 14mile paddle, after an entire summer of weekend instruction but no long paddles I know what you mean, but the soreness goes away and you're stronger a few days later (power of positive thinking big time here!)
