Yo - Just thinking out loud. I was wondering about having wooden bulheads, but held in place by silicon bathroom type - sealant or hot melt. Theoretically the glue would provide the water tightness and allow for a little movement in extreme colisions??
Building a S&G, I have piles of off-cuts that would fit the bill and save me having to source some closed cell foam, which could become a mission.
Just looking for feedback
Cheers Pete
