Pamela,
As cheif researcher here at Kayak builders anonomous KBA researching boat builders dimesia BBDI can indeed recommend a 12 step program. First I sentence thee to days in the lumber yard picking clear lumber. Then nights dreaming of a new boat then a stiff few months locked in your shop.
Then
1) pick design your designer being the higher power
2) buy wood
3) strip wood
4) scary sharp your planes
5) Load your 18 gauge needles with glue and epoxy hey addicts have needles
6) Breathe deep the gathering saw dust piles of dreft fade in every room
7) Rant "down with staples" whilst in the lotus position
Eat Rehd's cookies
9) Build one of Rehd's steamer bongs so you can "bend wood"
10) Go to secret societys meetings of the fellow adicted called rendevous
11) build a drying tent in your back yard and light it up ant night so it looks like a UFO
12) Splash the boat paddle it repeat process
13th step Codependant someone else into the addition. It is hopeless you are a lost soul.... Hell hath no fury like a woman with a table saw and.... a dream of just one more boat. Yes I am afraid Pamela you are an addict, and you are not responsible for that. However, you are responsible for manging your addiction. For BBD aflicted its 90 days and 90 strips
good luck
