You are doing fine my friend. And yes, if you'd like some cookies, you need but ask. But, in your situation, I would do things a little differently. I'm not in your shoes and I'd probably be screaming my fool head off If I were, But I think it's time to blow these suckers out of the water. You have a couple of boats to play with, so now it's time to sit back, relax, borrow my bong (steamer) and dream up something that will just knock everyones socks off at the next gathering. Go to the NewFound Rendezvous, check out what everyone brought, and " what they didn't " and that will give you some ideas on what it will take to have the next Jewel, the following year. Just like Joe did out here at the R2K1 meet. I'm sure you've seen the pics, and I'm here to tell you, EVERYONE was gaucking at this piece of "Furniture." All weekend long, you could look from one end to the other and the only place where You couldn't see a boat, was at the " King's " place. And you couldn't see it because there were tooooo many people standing around it.

It's time to take off the kids gloves and show 'em what you got. This doesn't have to be any specific boat, just some down to earth/shattering design and workmanship. You have a year and a few hours, so there's lots of time, and you can get everyones goat by not showing any pics till you unvail it at the next meet.

The tools and experience are all here and I'm sure you've read enough to be able to pick up about anything you need, plus you already have plenty of experience, so you just need to take your time, pick a boat and do it up like nobody has ever done it before. Easy!! 1, 2, 3...... and you're off.

And once you've given all these folks something to shoot for, you will be CURED!! I mean, how do you top perfection? You just sit back and gloat and know that you are " The ONE." You won't Have to build another boat. I mean, look at Joe Greenley.... There won't be anyone out there to beat the King, so he doesn't have to build another boat...... Right Joe? Joe..... Come on Joe, work with me here.....

O.K., I guess it will have to be me then. Hmmmm! What hasn't anyone done yet?? More to come......
