Like Pete, I have built a Silver for my wife. We don't have much seat time in it yet, but I will try to add to Pete's well written summary. I find it to have a little less initial stability than a Guillemot. That seems logical due to its rounded hull form, finer entry, and probably narrower water line. It tracks a bit stronger than my Arctic Tern but it turns OK. It looks like it's going to be a very quick cruiser for my wife, who is in the 130 lb. range. She's had it in a significant rip without handling problems. She finds the stability to be fine while I find it a bit more tippy than I like. It behaves well in a breeze. This boat is designed for the smaller athletic paddler.
I'm with Pete on the King. I liked my brief encounter with that boat a lot. It's fast, it carves very crisp turns with ease, and I want one NOW.
