Hi All-

2 weeks ago I had the chance to go down to the Downtown Boathouse, just above Canal Street and the Trade Center for a a Wednesday night program sponsored by the Downtown Boathouse to show the public the joys of boatbuilding. I couldn't make it, but you have to know there is a very enthusiastic and growing numbers of paddlers in the NYC area who have discovered the rewards of building kayaks.

With all that has gone down today, we all mourn.

Please let us remember all those who paid so dearly in this hour, and keep up all our efforts to enjoy freedom and pleasure in our endeavours.

I have paddled in the shadow of the World Trade Center, but will do so no more.
