For sanding epoxy a dri-lube paper works best to prevent loading. Carborundum Gold aluminum oxide is cheap and good but not the most durable. Carborundum Red has heat-treated aluminum oxide as the abrasive, which is more durable, and more expensive. I think the red is a better value. Both come in sheets, discs or rolls. I used a thin piece of poplar to make a sanding/fairing board. The 4-1/2" wide pressure sensitive adhesive backed rolls work well on such a board.
