: Does anyone in California have a good source of quality western red cedar and
: alaska yellow cedar in 16ft+ lengths S3S
: I would also appreciate sources in the Pacific Northwest.
: I'm having trouble fing anything better than a fence board and living on the
: Central coast of California I would prefer to buy as local as possible.

: Thank you,

: Ruben
: Margaritaville, Ca.

Hey Ruben

Aaaaahhh!! Margaritaville...... Ooohhh Yyyeeeaaahhhh, been there a couple of times. I feel like we're neighbors. ( but that was years ago mind you )

I don't know how close you are to Berkeley, Ca. but they are a Hardwood distributor, and also have some soft woods I believe. You can contact them and I believe they have other stores around the central coast.

I didn't look too closely, but they ( the Berkeley store ) have a few soft woods and I'm sure could get about anything you wanted. They are also a good source for Okoume plywood for S & G boats. Hope this helps.
