: I, too, got some of my hand tools from my father -- a cabinet builder. But
: sadly to say, I have no son to past them to. No, not that I do not have
: any son ( I have two in fact) to pass the tools to. They are all into
: computer and electronic stuffs and would never give my work or tools a
: glance. None of my nephews ( lots of them) are into making stuffs. All
: toys and furnitures are store bought. I hand craft some wooden toys and
: they quitely disappear quickly.
Yeh, I'm in the same boat Tony. I have two kids and neither is interested in woodworking, but there are 4 grand-children and I'm always trying to get them to pay attention. Too small now, but I'm feeding little ideas to them all the time. Hopefully one of them will pick it up. Other wise I'll have them buried with me. ;(
Actually I'm planning on everything wearing out about the same time I do. Then they can yard sale them all. Probably to some poor unsuspection novice boat builder. Tsk! Tsk!
