Yes, the CLC canoes are beautiful. They are made up of multiple panels, so the shapes are very nice. No flat bottomed barges here. A cheaper option than buying the plans or kit is to buy the book:

It's on sale at Amazon for $14. It includes plans for CLC's 3 canoes. I have thumbed through it in a bookstore, and it looks like a really good book. It includes the tables of offsets for the panels, not any full sized plans, but with those offsets, one can cut the panels without much trouble. CLC's "Lapstitch" method will require cutting rabbets on the edges of the plywood panels before they are glued together. A special router bit, or a rabbet plane can be used to do this.
