Dale, I am going to add something simular to your keel, skeg. My drawings have mine getting deeper at the stern for more leverage. I may hot glue your design on and see how it works and then mine, or incorporate both. In the photo of your boat, is the right or left side of the picture the bow. And I too would like to know how many inches the skeg hangs down at its deepest point.
