Hi,
I had installed a Guzzler 400s (the internal spring model) in a kayak a couple years ago and its worked great. However I found the spring to be a bit stiff as have others as discussed in previous threads on this site. I contacted Bosworth a few months ago and found the would make available a lighter weight spring if requested. I did and its a great improvement, so much so that I have put that model in 2 more boats.

: on the center of the pump and it does all the rest.

You may want to talk to Bosworth direct with regards to the lighter spring. I found them to be very helpful.
